NEW YORK, NY (October 2, 2024) – Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, today announced its official titles in celebration of Record Store Day (RSD) Black Friday (November 29, 2024), which includes exclusive vinyl titles from iconic artists across its global roster.

Available at RSD-participating independent record stores, this year’s offerings from Legacy include live performances, anniversary exclusives, remixed recordings, and titles on vinyl for the first time. Those who head to the Record Store will find the full experience of genres including classic hip-hop, alternative rock, soulful R&B, heavy metal, dance-pop, and more.

In 2007, a group of independent record store owners and employees gathered with one goal -promoting the distinctive culture of nearly 1400 independently owned record stores across the United States, and thousands of similar stores internationally. The following April, the world saw the inception of Record Store Day, a celebration of brick-and-mortar record stores – along with their staff, customers, and artists. Twice a year, those who celebrate are given the opportunity to shop local for exclusive titles released for Record Store Day.
